A recent update by a credible Genshin Impact leaker named Ubatcha1 has revealed a brand new five-star sword that will serve as the signature weapon for the recently announced Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayato. According to the leak, the sword has the following stats:

Weapon Type: Sword Base Attack: 77-608 Secondary Stat (Crit Rate): 7. 2% - 33. 1% Passive: The weapon’s user receives a 12% all elemental damage bonus. When other nearby party members’ Normal Attack hit opponents, the weapon user will gain one stack of “Wavespike”. Upon using an elemental skill, all stacks will be consumed to gain an effect named “Ripping Upheaval”. Each consumed stack increases Attack damage by 8% for 8 seconds

The weapon’s name is still unknown but the fact that its secondary stat increases the wielder’s Crit Rate up to 33.1% which makes it one of the best ascension stats in the game. The sword is best suited for Genshin Impact DPS characters who focus on dealing elemental damage since its passive grants an elemental damage bonus for the character’s element. Ayato’s ascension stats is Crit Damage which means that he will naturally have a great synergy with this weapon. Multiple in-game NPCs have already stated that Ayato is a skilled sword and polearm user, however, it seems like miHoYo decided to equip him with a sword.

Previous Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that his Elemental skill is named Shuumatsu Art, and it allows Ayato to dash sideways while casting forward an empty shell of himself that taunts enemies. He was originally rumored to be released alongside another four-star character named Heizou. Unlike Ayato, there is not much information about Heizou other than that he’s a detective. Shikanoin Heizou is a popular Inazuma detective who works for the Tenryu Commission. His unique way of investigating often gives the impression that he puts his own priorities over duties which makes him disliked by his superiors such as the well-known character Kojou Sara.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
