From what can be seen in the image, it’s safe to say that the Ruin Serpent will be a brand new Genshin Impact world boss which is unusual for the Automaton enemy type. The monster’s name in the image is still a placeholder but the Genshin Impact fans already started calling it Onix since it shares a lot of similarities to the popular Pokémon.
The current Genshin Impact beta phase update has revealed most of the upcoming content that will arrive in the upcoming update. Those leaks usually create a ton of hype, especially if they include a new character or a region. The beta for Genshin Impact 2.6 has finally revealed more information about the new Genshin Impact character Kamisato Ayato, the mysterious Hydro sword user and head of the Kamisato clan.
The arrival of this region has been the main topic of multiple rumors since its name was added to the current map of Teyvat. According to multiple leaks, the story that revolves around Chasm could serve as an interesting introduction to a new major Genshin Impact nation named Sumeru. Each nation in the game revolves around its own respective Archon and its divine ideals which are order, freedom, justice, etc. In the case of Sumeru, the God of Wisdom rules in the pursuit of all knowledge. Even though he is one of the rare leaders whose identity hasn’t been revealed yet, it is well known that Sumeru’s Archon is the youngest out of the seven Genshin Impact Archons.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, and a Nintendo Switch version in development.
