YouTuber NotALeaks has shared an interesting video featuring the new sword. The video shows the weapon’s passive which is triggered by attacking an enemy. The new weapon will have strong DPS capabilities thanks to its offensive secondary stat and passive. According to previous leaks, the new weapon will have the following stats
Weapon Type: Sword Rarity: Four-star Base Attack: 42-354 Secondary Stat (Attack): 9%-41. 3% Passive: When the wielder of the weapon uses a Normal, Charged or Plunging Attack, the weapon will whip up a Hewing Gale dealing AoE damage and increasing Attack by 15% for 8 seconds. The weapon can be triggered once every 8 seconds
The weapon will apparently be obtainable for free by completing a set of quests. A big part of the community want that HoYoverse to add more weapons with similar passive abilities in the future. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that, based on its design, the sword should serve as a signature weapon for the popular Anemo user Kaedehara Kazuha.
Previous Genshin Impact leaks have already confirmed that Kazuha will most likely receive his first banner re-run in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 2.8. Kazuha still holds the record for having the longest run without being featured on a limited banner. He was released back in update 1.6. Back when he arrived, Kazuha was considered to be a slightly weaker version of the Anemo Archon Venti. However, the meta has shifted since then and Kazuha is one of, if not the strongest support in the game.
The game has already confirmed the new Genshin Impact character that will arrive in the next update - Shikanoin Heizou. He is a mysterious detective from Inazuma. Multiple beta rumors have already confirmed that Heizou will be the game’s first Catalyst user. Even though the Catalyst is usually a ranged weapon, leaks have already confirmed that Heizou prefers close combat.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
