Genshin Impact’s combat system allows players to deploy up to four different characters and combine their elements, so they can trigger various elemental reactions. The last two floors are by far the hardest part of this domain and players need to adapt their team comp to take advantage of the opponent’s weaknesses.

A chart posted by Reddit user hammy851 shows the most popular picks in the current version of the Spiral Abyss. At the top of the list is the four-star character Bennett with an 89.6% pick rate. This pyro sword user is widely considered one of, if not the strongest four-star support in Genshin Impact, despite having a lower rarity. Fantastic Voyage is probably the best Elemental Burst within four-star units, and it allows Bennett to heal his party members and provide a significant damage buff. In order to use Bennett to his full potential, players need to level up most of his constellation levels.

The second most popular character on the list is Zhongli with an 85.8 pick rate. Similar to Bennett, the main reason behind his high usage is the fact that he can fit almost every team composition in the game. The Geo Archon can provide the strongest shield in Genshin Impact and he can deal tons of damage with his Planet Befall. As a Geo user, Zhongli is considered a neutral character who cannot interfere with the team comp’s main elemental reaction.

Kaedehara Kazuha, who took the third place on the list, is one of the best five-star supports in Genshin Impact but, unlike the two previous characters, Kazuha’s kit is much more offensive. He has the ability to shred the opponents’ resistances as well as provide significant damage buffs to his teammates.

The fourth character on the list, Sangonomiya Kokomi, has become a crucial part of the famous Bloom team compositions which also includes Nilou and two Dendro characters, one of which is usually the Dendro Archon Nahida. She is probably the best Hydro applicator in the game right now which makes her a must-have character for team compositions that rely on a Hydro elemental reaction.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
