The addition of new Genshin Impact characters helps build excitement for each new update, as they are one of the game’s main features. While version 2.5 has not arrived yet, new leaks have already revealed information about it. Further, the official Genshin Impact Social media accounts have already confirmed Yae Miko as the new Genshin Impact character.

Previous leaks and rumors have revealed some information about one of the most popular upcoming Genshin Impact characters Kamisato Ayato. This particular leak was originally taken from the website Bilibili before it was taken down by the mods. The picture apparently reveals more information about Ayato’s kit:

Normal Attack: N2 and N4 stack up “Posture” and Charged Attacks can consume these stacks turning them into “Ichimonji Slashes” which deals increased Hydro damage. Elemental Skill - Shuumatsu Art: This skill allows Ayato to dash sideways while casting forward an empty shell of himself that taunts enemies. Elemental Burst - Kamisato Art: Ayato thrusts forward firing a torrent of water that deals Hydro damage and lowers Hydro resistance. This skill resets the Elemental Skill cooldown.

The leak also reveals additional information about three of Ayato’s talents:

Utility Passive - Reformer’s Eye: Ayato has a 10% chance to receive a bonus product when crafting weapon materials. A1 Passive - Doorman’s Legacy: Based on how many Posture stacks he has, Ayato receives the following effects: damage reduction, interruption resistance and crit damage. A4 Passive - Evening Encore: When Elemental Skill shells expire or die, all party members’ skill cooldown is reduced.

So far there are already a lot of credible Genshin Impact leaks about Ayato. The only confirmed thing about this character is that he is the head of the Kamisato clan and even though most players thought that it was his sister Ayaka who was pulling the strings for the clan, recent story quests have revealed that it’s actually Ayato who assumes the leadership tasks for the clan to remain powerful. According to multiple leaks, Ayato will take the sub-DPS role in most team compositions.

When it comes to his appearance, Ayato has been rumored to have short blue hair, which makes sense since his sister Ayaka has a similar hair color. Rumors claim that Ayato might have a resemblance to Otto from the game Honkai Impact. Both of them share the same Japanese and Chinese voice actor. Further on the thread claims that Ayato will have a white coat similar to the three admirals in the popular anime One Piece.
