Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 27. 6% CRIT Rate R5 Effect: Normal Attack hits increase Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 40% for 6s. Likewise, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits increase Normal Attack DMG by 40% for 6s.

6 Mappa Mare

Primary Stats: 565 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 110 Elemental Mastery R5 Effect: Triggering an Elemental reaction grants a 16% Elemental DMG Bonus for 10s. Max 2 stacks.

Mappa Mare is one of the best Forgeable weapons in Genshin Impact. The weapon grants its wielder a whopping 32% Elemental DMG for just triggering an Elemental Reaction. For Heizou, that task is simple as his entire gameplay revolves around triggering Swirl. The icing on the cake, however, is that Mappa Mare has Elemental Mastery as a Secondary Stats, which is exactly what Heizou needs.

5 The Widsith

Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 55. 1% CRIT DMG R5 Effect: When a character takes the field, they will gain a random theme song for 10s. This can only occur once every 30s. Recitative: ATK is increased by 120%. Aria: Increases all Elemental DMG by 96%. Interlude: Elemental Mastery is increased by 480.

At R1, The Widsith is a decent choice for Heizou. As for R5, Not only for Heizou, but The Widsith becomes one of the best Catalysts in Genshin Impact. This weapon has a range of passives that can be triggered randomly, all have a crazy buff. What makes it even better is having CRIT DMG as a Secondary Stats, which will increase Heizou’s DMG in general.

4 Lost Prayer of the Sacred Winds

Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 33. 1% CRIT Rate Effect: Increases Movement SPD by 10%. When in battle, gain an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus every 4s. Max 4 stacks. Lasts until the character falls or leaves combat.

Since Heizou is a DPS, he will be spending more field time than his teammates. That is exactly what triggers Lost Prayer of the Sacred Winds’ passive. The more time Heizou spent the more Elemental DMG he stacks with an increased movement speed. Additionally, as a 5-star weapon, Lost Prayer’s stats are high, especially the 33% CRIT Rate increase.

3 Memory Of Dust

Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 49. 6% ATK Effect: Increases Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0. 3s. While protected by a shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%.

Memory of Dust is a great choice for Heizou because of the amount of ATK% it provides. Once Heizou is shielded, the Catalyst will insanely boost his ATK up to ~90%. The high Base ATK of Memory of Dust will also contribute to further increasing Heizou’s DMG. The only downside is once Heizou wields this weapon, he must have a shielder in his team composition.

2 Sacrificial Fragments

Primary Stats: 454 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 221 Elemental Mastery R5 Effect: After dealing DMG to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has an 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 16s.

Sacrificial Fragments has a Secondary Stat that is different from other Genshin Impact Sacrificial weapons. It enhances Heizou’s Elemental Mastery instead of Energy Recharge. This makes this Catalyst the best option for Heizou’s Swirl Build.

1 Skyward Atlas

Primary Stats: 674 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 33. 1% ATK Effect: Increases Elemental DMG Bonus by 12%. Normal Attack hits have a 50% chance to earn the favor of the clouds which actively seek out nearby opponents to attack for 15s, dealing 160% ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 30s.

Another Catalyst user, and another time Skyward Atlas is the best choice for that character. The simplicity of this weapon should not trick Genshin Impact players into thinking it has low DMG. Skyward Atlas has a high Base ATK, ATK% Secondary Stats, and 12% extra Elemental DMG bonus from its passive effect. On top of that, the second passive of Skyward Atlas benefits from all that ATK increase.
