A new chart posted on the official Genshin Impact subReddit shows the first-week banner revenue for the first banner of the current version 3.0. According to multiple replies in the comment section, the double banner taking 11th place on the list is a decent and unexpected accomplishment.

Fans claim that they didn’t expect the banner to do so well considering that the only new five-star character, Tighnari, will be joining the Standard Banner in the upcoming update. A big part of the community skipped his banner since they will most likely get this character in the future after they lose a 50/50 on a Limited Banner. The most exciting thing about Tighnari is probably the fact that he is the first five-star character with a Dendro Vision. HoYoverse’s decision to put Tighnari on a Standard Banner caught many fans by surprise and while some claim that they like the fact that the list of Standard Banner characters is getting longer, this also means that it will be almost impossible to acquire all of Tighnari’s constellations in the future.

Players have also pointed out that HoYoverse should add another Geo character to the banner in order to have representatives of all seven elements in the game. Tighnari is a decent DPS character in Genshin Impact who relies on dealing damage with his unique Charged Attack. When it comes to his weapon, the current banner offers a five-star bow named Hunter’s Path which serves as a signature weapon for the Forest Watcher.

For maximum damage output, Tighnari’s play style should revolve around triggering two new elemental reactions in Genshin Impact, Quicken and Spread, which means that he should be surrounded by Dendro and Electro users. It should be noted that the second five-star character on the banner, Zhongli, is also responsible for the banner’s success.

Since his release back in 2020, Zhongli has proven to be one of the strongest characters in the Genshin Impact with the ability to provide one of the best shields in the game as well as deal tons of damage with his elemental burst. Players who want to acquire the two characters should pull for them as soon as possible considering that their banner expires on September 9.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
