This means that Genshin Impact players who want to acquire the currently available limited five-stars, Wanderer and Itto, will have a couple of more days to do so as their banner is scheduled to expire around December 27. Each Limited Character Banner also includes a lineup of three four-star characters.

The game’s official Twitter account has confirmed the three four-star characters that will accompany Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato on their banner. Four-star characters have a 10-wish pity which means that players are guaranteed one drop every 10 pulls. While they are usually seen as weaker units, some four-stars like Xiangling and Bennett are considered to be some of the strongest supports in Genshin Impact. According to the tweet, the upcoming Limited Character Banners will feature the following units:

Raiden Shogun - five-star Electro polearm user Kamisato Ayato - five-star Hydro sword user Sayu - four-star Anemo claymore user Sara - four-star Electro bow user Rosaria - four-star Cryo polearm user

The two five-star characters, Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato, are both top-tier picks in their respective roles. Ayato is considered a very strong Genshin Impact DPS character with the ability to dish out tons of Hydro damage. Unlike Ayato, Raiden Shogun can fill multiple roles within a team comp which makes her one of the most flexible units in the game. She can be a main DPS, a sub-DPS, and even a support due to her ability to constantly produce Energy particles.

Players seem overall happy with the four-star lineup, especially since it includes Sara who only appears on a banner when she’s placed alongside the Electro Archon. She is a strong supportive character whose main job is to buff her team’s damage output. However, Sara’s kit often seems a bit harder to execute, especially for new players, which is one of the reasons why players usually opt for Bennett whose skills are much more straightforward.

Rosaria is a much more offensive character who can fit both the support and the sub-DPS role. Her best type of party is probably the Permafreeze team composition which revolves around triggering Frozen. Sayu is a decent Anemo support whose primary job is to provide constant healing to her teammates.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
