Developer HoYoverse has already revealed the four-star characters that will appear alongside Sangonomiya Kokomi and Ganyu in the upcoming Limited Character Banner. Those characters include Xingqiu, Sucrose and Dori. According to the new tweet, the weapon banner will introduce the following items:
Amo’s Bow - five-star bow Everlasting Moonglow - five-star catalyst Sacrificial Sword - four-star sword Eye of Perception - four-star catalyst Dragon’s Bane - four-star polearm Rust - four-star bow Favonious Greatsword - four-star claymore
The majority of the Genshin Impact community seem satisfied with the new weapon banner, even though it won’t feature any new items. Amo’s Bow is a strong DPS bow that serves as a signature weapon for one of the upcoming five-star characters, Ganyu. Its passive effect increases Normal and Aimed Shot damage by 18%. The damage also increases by 12% for every 0.1 seconds that an arrow is in flight. This means that if players want to maximize the bow’s damage potential, they should not stand close to their targets, but it should be noted that this effect has can stack up to five times.
The second five-star weapon, Everlasting Moonglow, will serve as the signature weapon for the other five-star character, the Hydro user Sangonomiya Kokomi. The weapon’s passive effect is called Byakuya Kougetsu, and it increases the character’s healing powers by 10% and Normal Attack damage by 1% of their max. HP. After using an Elemental Burst or Normal Attacks, the weapon will restore 0.6 Energy once every 0.1 seconds.
When it comes to the lower rarity weapons, players claim that the only noteworthy item is the four-star bow Rust, a weapon considered to be one of, if not the strongest four-star items in Genshin Impact. DPS characters like Childe or Yoimiya benefit from the weapon’s passive effect which increases Normal Attack damage by 40% but lowers Charged Attack damage by 10%. A huge part of Childe’s damage output relies on using his Elemental Skill which equips him with Hydro daggers that apply the Normal Attack damage type.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5.
