Reddit user No_Day_3105 created a highly detailed diorama of a domain found in Genshin Impact. The exact domain used as a reference is unknown, but the domain appears to be one present within the Mondstadt region. Many of Mondstadt’s domains are found along mountains and cliff sides just like the domain diorama depicts. Genshin Impact’s Shrine of Depths may be found near domains and teleport waypoints too. The Midsummer Courtyard domain near Starsnatch Cliff in Mondstadt looks very similar to the fan-created diorama.

No_Day_3105’s diorama features a rocky, fragmented appearance to faithfully represent an actual domain entrance in Genshin Impact. The diorama appears to be constructed with layers of painted styrofoam and paper to mimic the in-game version. However, the diorama is missing some symbols and intricate coloring found on domain entrances. Nevertheless, the diorama maintains many of the core traits found in domains scattered throughout the world of Teyvat.
Domains contain worthwhile rewards for Genshin Impact players willing to challenge bosses and enemies in a timely manner. Challenge domains are among the most common with several rotations each week. For instance, some domains are active on Mondays and Tuesdays while others are active on weekends only. Upon completing a challenge domain, players must use Original Resin to redeem rewards such as talent materials, weapon materials, and artifacts. Varying degrees of difficulty are available for each challenge domain with the most difficult challenges yielding the rarest of rewards.
The impressive domain diorama by No_Day_3105 is another authentic creation from the Genshin Impact community that should be commended for the user’s effort. Styrofoam materials used for the project were adjusted to capture the stone aesthetic of domains, and the end result is a captivating display of creativity. Additionally, the diorama does well as a tribute to Genshin Impact’s Mondstadt region.
Players can expect new domains in Genshin Impact version 3.1 and beyond as the Sumeru region expands further. The new Sumeru desert areas should provide a change of pace following the game’s many adventures within Sumeru’s dense forests and caves. As version 3.1 approaches its launch, fans eagerly await more details about the official Genshin Impact anime by Ufotable as well.
