HeleBun has confirmed that the main inspiration for the artwork was taken from a Honkai Impact 3rd character, which is the second most popular Hoyoverse game after Genshin Impact. The character’s name is Mobius, and she’s a popular scientist with long green hair and a child-like appearance. To some extent, this description fits the previous rumors about Kusanali’s appearance which made most players believe that the new Dendro Archon will have a very similar appearance.

The world of Genshin Impact has seven nations spread over the world of Teyvat. Hoyoverse has been slowly introducing a pattern of unlocking a new major region every year with Inazuma being the last one added to the game back in July 2021. The game’s official story has already revealed that Kusanali is the youngest Archon, and she will rule over the mysterious land of Sumeru which should be the next nation to arrive.

Fans are very excited about Sumeru’s arrival considering that its representative Dendro element is still not featured on any playable character in the game. Multiple leaks claim that the whole Inazuma arc will end with version 2.8 meaning that, including the current one, players will have to wait for another three updates to before Sumeru officially arrives. Genshin Impact update cycles approximately last 45 days which means that update 3.0 should arrive around mid-August.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
