Reddit user DarivaRandomStuff has revealed an impressive video portraying Shikanoin Kazuha as Aang, the main character of the popular series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Shikanoin Heizou is the most recent character to join the Genshin Impact roster, and he is currently obtainable on the first double banner of Genshin Impact Version 2.8. The video starts off by showing four different Genshin Impact characters introducing the four elements: water, earth, fire, and air. All of these elements can be found in Genshin Impact but under different names. The story told in the video is from the original series, but all the visuals are taken from the game’s cutscenes.
Even the Crimson Witch of Embers, better known as Rosalyne or La Signora, is revealed as the representative for the series’ infamous Fire Nation. The popular siblings, Katara and Sokka, are portrayed by popular Genshin Impact characters Kamisato Ayaka and Ayato, who play an important part in the game’s story. The last part of the video shows Shikanoin Heizou fighting while equipped with multiple elements which proves that he has mastered all four of them.
The video gathered 1.3k upvotes with multiple replies claiming that Heizou is the perfect choice for the main character as he is the only unit in the game that prefers fighting without a weapon despite being a Catalyst user. He also uses the Anemo element, which is often referred to as the wind element, making Heizou very similar to Aang.
A couple of comments claim that it had to take hours of creative work to figure out how to give the illusion of that Heizou using four different elements. Fans challenge DarivaRandomStuff to create a similar video with the upcoming Dendro element which is scheduled to arrive in the next major update. According to HoYoverse’s usual update schedule, Genshin Impact Version 3.0 should drop at the end of August.
Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
