Genshin Impact players often use the Serenitea Pot to recreate popular objects, buildings, or scenes from other franchises. Reddit user mingmingcat has shared their attempt to recreate one of the iconic scenes from the popular movie The Lion King, known as Hakuna Matata.

The original scene shows three popular characters, Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa, walking over a fallen tree that served as a bridge. In order to represent the three main characters, the Redditor used three of Genshin Impact’s animals: a dog, a boar, and a red-tailed weasel. Many fans love the scene as the post reached over 14.5k upvotes. Multiple comments asked why mingmingcat didn’t use the tiger-stripped cat to be Simba, but the Redditor revealed that they don’t have it in their Serenitea Pot.
A couple of fans have proposed the idea of recreating the scene once the new Sumeru region arrives as it will introduce new types of enemies and NPCs. Developer HoYoverse has confirmed that the new region will be divided into rainforests and deserts. However, the recent live stream has revealed that players will most likely have to wait for a couple of months before the desert parts of Sumeru arrive. The new nation will probably arrive part by part, which has become the game’s standard practice when it comes to adding new major regions.
Multiple rumors have been hinting that Sumeru is larger than Mondstadt and Liyue combined, which makes it by far the greatest major region in Genshin Impact. According to multiple teaser videos, the new region will be packed with new types of enemies and wildlife, which will include different variations of lions that can be used to play Simba in the scene.
When it comes to new playable characters, the official live stream event for Genshin Impact update 3.0 has confirmed the arrival of three new characters, Tighnari, Dori, and Collei. Tighnari and Collei are two Dendro bow users, and they are scheduled for the first banner for Version 3.0. Dori is expected to be a new Electro claymore character who is set to appear on the second part of the update alongside Ganyu and Kokomi.
Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
