Each character in the game has a couple of unique animations that can be triggered by being inactive. These idle animations can include various activities, from Albedo’s drawing skills to Bennett getting hit in the head by a stone. While waiting for the player’s commands, Nahida’s idle animation makes her sit on a Dendro-type swing for a very long time.

Reddit user trueHolyGiraffe has expressed his feelings about Nahida’s idle animation on the official Genshin Impact subreddit. In a thread that gathered over 7.2k upvotes the Redditor claims that they would’ve preferred if Nahida could create a Dendro sphere in at least one of her idle animations. All three of the previously released Archons, Venti, Zhongli, and Raiden Shogun, have the ability to create a sphere infused with their respective element. While most replies in the comment section agree, a couple of fans have stated that giving Nahida such a “childlike” idle suits her character considering that she is the youngest out of the Seven Genshin Impact Archons.

Overall, players seem very happy with the new character’s design and power of the field which was proven by the fact that Nahida already broke the first-day revenue record in Genshin Impact. This record is even more impressive considering that her release is surrounded by very strong character additions like Cyno and Nilou in 3.1 and Wanderer being confirmed for the next update.

Nahida’s release could completely change the game’s character meta considering that she is the first five-star Dendro support. A big part of the community already gave her the nickname “Archon of elemental reactions” due to Nahida’s ability to interact and enable so many other characters and elements. In fact, without those reactions, Nahida is almost useless compared to other five-star characters as her Normal Attacks don’t do a lot of damage.

Just like the three previous Archons, Nahida is a very flexible character that can fit in most team compositions in the game. HoYoverse has included at least one Archon in each update with 3.0 and 3.1 featuring Zhongli and Venti. This means that Genshin Impact version 3.3 could bring back the Electro Archon Raiden Shogun whose last re-run was alongside Sangonomiya Kokomi during update 2.5.
