This Genshin Impact Precious Chest is situated on a circular stone platform with an eight-pointed star symbol (close to the shoreline on the map). A red elemental lock prevents access. Players will need to direct a total of four Electro Seelie to set up Seelie Courts nearby for the lock to break.

The first Electro Seelie is on an outcrop above the Precious Chest and beside the gnarled tree. Follow the Seelie around the small bits of land to the tip of a buried boat until it hovers obnoxiously out of reach. Use Kazuha, Venti, Keqing, Zhongli, Geo Traveler (might need a “tall male” character model for extra height) or a Wind Catcher to touch the Seelie, prompting its return to Seelie Court. For those sadly lacking these Genshin Impact exploration lifesavers (and disinclined to make the trip for a Geo Resonance Traveler), climbing the cliff and jumping into the Seelie’s personal space is the only alternative.

During the acquisition of this Seelie, players should spot its neighbor in the tree stump and swoop down to trigger it (if they haven’t already). This genial second Electro Seelie travels straight to its spot beside the Precious Chest – no messing around.

The third Electro Seelie is stuck behind a Thunder Barrier. Thunder Barriers have different strengths identified by the circular emblems centered in the shield. Fortunately, this Thunder Barrier is Electrogranum Level 1, and all players need to pass through is the Electrograna itself. A Thunder Sakura Bough is located west of the Barrier on a tiny cliff. Summon the Electrograna and pass through the Thunder Barrier to contact the Seelie. This Electro Seelie is hovering rather high – use the aforementioned characters or glide from the cliffside to reach it.

The fourth Electro Seelie is the most likely reason why players might be consulting a guide. South of the Precious Chest is an unassuming Hilichurl hard at work digging in the dirt, hunkered down in the crevice of two adjoining rock formations (refer to the picture below). Defeat this Hilichurl, and a hidden “Dig” dialogue will populate and summon the final Seelie.

Beneath the sand is one of the last places players expect to look for Seelies, but a bloodthirsty attitude towards Hilichurls will get one far in Genshin Impact. Follow the Electro Seelie to its Seelie Court to complete the pedestal’s lighted star and open the Precious Chest.

Genshin Impact is available on mobile devices, PC, PS4, and PS5.
