A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subReddit has revealed more information about the five-star characters that should appear in the upcoming update. According to a popular leaker named SpendYourPrimos, Genshin Impact version 3.1 will introduce two banner re-runs for popular characters Venti and Eula.

Both characters are from the Mondstadt which means that players might be heading back to this region for a couple of quests. Venti is the Anemo Archon, meaning he serves as the protector of Mondstadt. When it comes to his power on the battlefield, many consider him to be still one of, if not the strongest support in Genshin Impact despite being one of the oldest characters in the roster. His Elemental Burst, Wind’s Grand Ode, is by many considered to best Anemo skill in the game as it allows Venti to create a Sormeye that sucks in and groups enemies.

According to the same leaker, the first four Sumeru updates will apparently introduce the four famous Genshin Impact Archons. Players already have the option to pull for Zhongli in the ongoing banner, and it seems as though the three other Archons: Venti, Raiden Shogun, and the new character Nahida, are scheduled to appear on a banner in the next three updates.

The second character mentioned in the leak, Eula, is one of the best DPS characters in Genshin Impact. Even though she is equipped with a Cryo Vision, Eula’s primary focus is dealing tons of Physical damage which makes her very flexible in many team compositions. She still holds the record for the single highest damage hit in the game with over six million points of Physical damage. Even though the leak doesn’t clarify it, the two re-runs will probably be spread over two banner cycles.

Venti is expected to arrive in the first banner cycle alongside the new Electro polearm character Cyno which makes sense since HoYoverse usually avoids placing two five-stars with similar roles on the same double banner. Eula will most likely be placed alongside the new five-star Hydro user Nilou in the second part of the update. According to previous leaks, the new four-star character Candace will be featured on the first banner.

Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
