Genshin Impact’s official social media accounts have already confirmed the arrival of three new characters in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 3.0. Recent leaks have revealed more details about one of those characters, the four-star Dendro user Collei.

A popular Genshin Impact leaker by the name YelanLover has revealed the constellation level effects for the new Genshin Impact character Collei. Even though YelanLover is a credible leaker in Genshin Impact community, it should be noted that these leaks are yet to be confirmed by developer HoYoverse. Collei will apparently be part of the first banner for Genshin Impact update 3.0, and according to YelanLover, Collei’s constellations will have the following effects:

C1 - When in the party and not on the field, Collei’s Energy Recharge is increased by 20% C2 - One of her Passive Talents will get changed to this: The Floral Ring will grant Collei the Sprout effect from Floral Sidewinder upon return, dealing 40% of Collei’s Attack as Dendro damage to nearby opponents for 3 seconds. If a party member triggers one of the Dendro reactions before the Sprout effect ends, it will extend its duration by 3 seconds. This extension can only be done once per Sprout cast. C3 - Increases the level of Collei’s Floral Brush (elemental skill) by 3 C4 - Using Collei’s Trump-Card Kitty (elemental burst) will increase a nearby character’s Elemental Mastery by 60 for 12 seconds C5 - Increases the level of Trump-Card Kitty (elemental burst) by 3 C6 - When Collei’s elemental skill hits an opponent, it will create a miniature Cuilein-Anbar that will deal 200% of her Attack as Dendro damage. Each Floral Brush can create only one Cuilein-Anbar.

Considering the fact that some of her constellations make her stronger when she’s not on the field, Collei will most likely be a new Genshin Impact support character. Previous beta leaks have revealed that her elemental skill will allow her to throw a boomerang that deals Dendro damage both as it deploys and on the return. Collei’s elemental burst makes her throw a small cat sidekick that explodes causing AoE Dendro damage, similar to Amber’s Baron Bunny.

Collei’s arrival has been rumored for months since she played a major part in the official Genshin Impact manga. The manga mentioned that she has unnatural powers that allow her to control elemental powers without using a Vision. These powers are the result of her being the subject of the Archon Residue research made by the Fatui organization. The manga also reveals that Collei is very close to Amber, which might be the reason why their kit is so similar. Recent Genshin Impact rumors have been hinting that Collei will most likely be obtainable for free during the duration of Version 3.0, which fits HoYoverse’s pattern of giving free characters with the release of a new major region.

However, Collei is also expected to appear on a banner alongside another Dendro character, the five-star bow user Tighnari. According to numerous leaks, Tighnari will be the only new character in Genshin Impact Version 3.0, which means that players can expect a new double banner re-run for the second part of the update. Another credible leaker named SaveYourPrimos has revealed that the update’s second banner will most likely feature two popular characters, Ganyu and Zhongli.
