Genshin Impact has offered a wide variety of events for players to participate in throughout the game’s two-year-long history. From massive events adding new areas and story content like Version 2.8’s “Summer Fantasia” to frequently featured side events like “Hyakunin Ikki,” Genshin Impact gives players plenty of ways to farm Primogems. Genshin’s events have even taken nods from other franchises with themed events like the recent Pokemon-inspired “Fabulous Fungi Frenzy.” Now, “Across the Wilderness” will allow players to farm Primogems while exploring some of the game’s locales.

A recent post from prominent Genshin Impact leaker Genshin Intel has given players some details about an upcoming event. “Across the Wilderness” will take place in five different towns and settlements across Teyvat including Mondstadt, The Alcor, and Port Ormos, tasking players with finding balloons. Finding at least 30 balloons out of each location’s total of 40 will reward the player with a whopping 80 Primogems. The post also specifies that players can complete the event and hunt down balloons while playing in the game’s co-op mode.

With the event’s focus on traversing each town’s landscape, many fans in the replies have already recognized the potential of Version 3.3’s new character, Wanderer. Previous leaks have revealed that Wanderer’s Elemental Skill will allow him to fly for a short time with players able to quickly find balloons while soaring through the air. The event also likely favor characters with movement-enhancing abilities like Venti, as well as characters who can create structures like Zhongli and Geo Traveler. Previous leaks from Genshin Intel suggest the event will launch alongside Wanderer in Version 3.3

Genshin Impact’s newest update has already seen plenty of leaks with the “Across the Wilderness” event as the newest. Alongside the previously-mentioned Wanderer, Version 3.3 will see a new four-star character added to the game with fellow Anemo character Faruzan joining the roster.
