Recent updates by credible Genshin Impact leakers by the name have revealed that a couple of interesting names have been included in some existing characters’ voice lines. Those names include the long-awaited characters Shenhe and Yunjin who has already been rumored to be a four-star character. Yunjin has already been being mentioned by multiple characters in the game is usually one of miHoYo’s signals that a character may be playable fairly soon.

An interesting leak on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has revealed additional information about future updates. The leak was originally posted a couple of months ago and many players considered it to be fake since it stated that both Eula and Albedo will be part of the same banner which has not happened in the game yet.

During yesterday’s Genshin Impact 2.3 Livestream reveal miHoYo introduced the first double banner featuring those two characters which means that the information is actually credible. The post further revealed that the long-awaited Genshin Impact character Shenhe will be a Catalyst user. She is expected to be a five-star character arriving in update 2.4 alongside another double banner re-run with Xiao and Ganyu. Shenhe was apparently present in the game’s beta phase and players already know what she will look like. Last month, a credible leaker by the name SaveYourPrimos has tweeted a series of pictures featuring her in-game model.

After the 2.3 Livestream confirmed the arrival of two brand new characters in Genshin Impact update 2.3, players were expecting a character drought for at least one update. However, miHoYo does not plan to stop there, as many leaks predict that future updates will be packed with brand new characters as well as double banners featuring fan-favourite characters.

Arataki Itto has been leaked multiple times over the last couple of months and players will finally have the opportunity to pull for him. When it comes to his Elemental Burst, it will provide a buff for a couple of seconds, similar to Razor’s or Beidou’s Elemental Burst. The buff will allow his Normal, Charged and Plunged attack to deal Geo damage.

Albedo, Gorou, and Itto could make a strong party with Itto as the main DPS and the other two would fill the support roles. Itto’s ascension attribute will be Critical Damage, which could make him one of the stronger DPS characters in Genshin Impact. Having a party of characters that use the same vision is usually considered bad, but it works with Geo thanks to the unique Elemental reaction Crystalize which works independently from all other elements.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
