One of the most exciting thing about this new region is the fact that it will introduce a brand-new element named Dendro. Now, a new Genshin Impact leak has revealed more information about the new characters that will most likely join the playable roster in the foreseeable future.

Even though developer HoYoverse is yet to confirm the arrival of a new major update, going by their usual update schedule and numerous rumors, Genshin Impact 3.0 should arrive after update 2.8. One of the most credible Genshin Impact leakers, Ubatcha1, has revealed a couple of characters that might arrive in the upcoming Version 3.0. The tweet also mentioned Dendro Lumine, but this just means that the new update will allow the main character to control the Dendro element. The list includes the following characters:
Tighnari - five-star Dendro bow character Collei - four-star Dendro bow character Dori - four-star Electro claymore character
The same leaker has already revealed more information about the only new five-star character called Tighnari. He is rumored to have Klee-like ears which will apparently be common for the upcoming characters. The community is confused by his unusual name but recent many fans claim that it’s most likely based on the popular Arab scientist, Al-Tighnari. This could be true considering the fact that Sumeru is rumored to be based on the southwest Asia and the Middle East.
Ubatcha1 describes Tighnari as a new “Dendro Ganyu” which means that he will probably be one of the strongest DPS characters in the game. Similarly to Ganyu, Tighnari will fire extra arrows that track a target after hitting. The new four-star Dendro character, Collei, has already made an appearance outside of the game in the Genshin Impact manga. According to the manga, she has the ability to control the Dendro element without having a Vision, just like Aether and Lumine.
Recent rumors have also revealed additional information about two new Genshin Impact elemental reactions tied with the new Dendro element, Overgrown and Intensified. Overgrown is triggered by combining Dendro with Hydro, and it will drop explosive seeds on the floor. The other reaction, Intensified, grants a significant damage buff once Electro and Dendro are combined.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
