One of those characters is a new Dendro bow user who is expected to be the only new five-star character in the upcoming 3.0 update. A recent Genshin Impact leak has revealed more information about one of the upcoming characters that should arrive in the first Sumeru update.

A credible leaker named YelanLover has apparently revealed additional details about the kit for the new five-star character Tighnari. According to the information, he will apparently be a character with a strong focus on dealing Dendro damage with the following constellation effects:
C1 - Tighnari’s Charged Attack Crit Rate is increased by 15%. C2 - When there are opponents within the confusion field of his elemental skill, Tighnari gains a 20% bonus Dendro damage. This effect lasts for 6 seconds if the confusion field’s duration ends or if it no longer affects any opponents. C3 - Increases the level of Fashioner’s Tanglevine’s Shaft (elemental burst) by 3. C4 - When Tighnari’s elemental burst is activated, all party members gain 60 Elemental Mastery for 8 seconds. If his burst triggers Burning, Intensify, Overgrow or Spread reaction, the Elemental Mastery bonus will get doubled. C5 - Increases the level of Vijnana-Phala Mine (elemental skill) by 3 C6 - Wreath Arrow’s charging time is decreased by 0. 9 seconds, and it will produce one additional Clusterbloom Arrow upon hit
There is a lot of hype around this character considering that he is the only new five-star character who will arrive in the upcoming update 3.0. Fan-made theories claim that his name is based on a famous Arab scientist named Al-Tighnari which makes sense considering that Sumeru will be based on the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
According to his constellation levels, Tighnari is expected to be a very strong Dendro DPS character who can also fill the sub-DPS role. However, his strength will rely on the power of the new Dendro elemental reactions which should arrive with the new element. Leaks have already confirmed two new elemental reactions called Overgrown and Intensified.
Tighnari is expected to arrive in the first part of the 3.0 update which means that the second banner cycle will probably include another banner re-run. Recent Genshin Impact leaks have been hinting that the second banner will apparently introduce a double re-run featuring two popular characters: Zhongli and Ganyu.
Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
