Each time Genshin Impact players pull on a banner, it triggers a special wishing animation revealing their new items. A post on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit reveals the wishing animations for three upcoming characters: Tighnari, Collei, and Dori.

All of them are expected to arrive in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 3.0, however, it’s highly unlikely that they will be placed on the same banner. Players expect Tighnari to appear the first banner since he’s the only new five-star character. Collei is also expected to be a part of the same banner considering that previous leaks revealed that players will receive her for free in the new major update. The game usually grants one free four-star character whenever a new major region arrives to the game.

A couple of fans were confused by the fact that the banner in the video features Arataki Itto, but this is probably just a placeholder for the limited character banner in the ongoing 3.0 beta. Tignari’s name is apparently based on a popular Arab scientist by the name Al-Tighnari which seems plausible since Sumeru’s design takes a lot of inspiration from Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Previous constellation leaks have revealed that Tighnari will most likely be a new DPS character with strong sub-DPS capabilities.

However, these leaks should still be taken with a grain of salt considering that he will rely on the new Dendro elemental reactions and HoYoverse is yet to reveal the specific numbers for the new element. The recent Genshin Impact Dendro preview led many players to believe that it has the potential to become the strongest element in Genshin Impact due to its synergy with almost any other element in the game.

The two other characters, Collei and Dori, have a lower four-star rarity and both of them are expected to be new supports. A big part of the community claims that, despite her lower rarity, Collei could still be more useful than Tighnari since she seems to have a much better Dendro application. With the introduction of the new Dendro element, players expect the main character to receive a new set of Dendro abilities.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
