When players defeat a Shadowy Husk, they may obtain a Statuette. Like typical Genshin Impact materials, there are three levels for this drop; Gloomy Statuette, Dark Statuette, and Deathly Statuette. Each of these items resembles the face of an unknown person, where the Gloomy version has a rather normal face, the Dark Statuette is described as emanating warmth, while the Deathly one has an ominous energy. By far, there aren’t many theories on who these faces are.

Where To Find Shadowy Husk (Black Serpent Knight) To Farm Statuettes

To farm Statuettes in Genshin Impact, players have to know the Shadowy Husk (Black Serpent Knight) locations. This enemy is only available in the Underground Chasm, and there are a limited number of them. Many of the Shadowy Husks are also hidden behind a gate. For example, the one at the northern part of the Underground Chasm requires Travelers to obtain the Genshin Impact Miner’s Key.

The first time players defeat some of these Shadowy Husks, they will get a purple ball. Once Travelers collected nine Orb of the Blue Depths in Genshin Impact, they can claim three chests; one Luxurious, one Precious, and one Exquisite.

For the southern part of the Underground Chasm, most of the Shadowy Husks locations are quite straightforward. Nevertheless, some of them may be hiding on lower grounds or in a cave.

By far, Statuettes are only used to upgrade Kamisato Ayato’s best weapon in Genshin Impact, Haran Geppaku Futsu. Here’s how players can get each type of Statuettes:

Gloomy Statuettes: Dropped by Shadowy Husks, Abyss Herald, and Abyss Lector. Dark Statuettes: Dropped by level 40+ Shadowy Husks, Abyss Herald, and Abyss Lector. Deathly Statuettes: Dropped by level 60+ Shadowy Husks, Abyss Herald, and Abyss Lector.

If Travelers have a lot of Gloomy Statuettes but insufficient Dark and Deathly Statuettes, they can utilize the Crafting Table to upgrade the lower-rank Statuette. Remember to use Genshin Impact Sucrose for this as she might multiply the crafted item. So far, this Talent is one of the most useful abilities in the game. Other useful boosts include Xingqiu, Mona, Albedo, and Kamisato Ayaka.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
