RELATED: Genshin Impact: Things You Didn’t Know About Pyro
Anyone planning to ascend Pyro characters — which are often top-tier fighters — will need to use some or all of these methods. Agnidus Agate, like the other elemental gems, comes in Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones. Below is an outline of every possible way to get Agnidus Agate in Genshin Impact, as well as which characters are going to need some of it to reach their highest potential.
Which Characters Use Agnidus Agate
Every Genshin Impact character lucky enough to be blessed with a Pyro Vision will need some Agnidus Agate if they want to ascend. At higher ascension levels, better quality Agate is needed, as outlined in this chart:
At this time, there are ten Pyro characters in Genshin Impact. Here’s a look at all of them:
Genshin Impact Bosses That Drop Agnidus Agate
Among the many ways of obtaining Agnidus Agate, the most reliable for farming large quantities of it will be defeating bosses. Only some of the standard bosses are capable of dropping the Pyro stone, though:
Pyro Regisvine Pyro Hypostasis Primo Geovishap Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network
In general, the quality of Agate that bosses can drop depends on their level. Here’s a brief glance at which level a boss needs to be to drop certain gems:
Genshin Impact Weekly Bosses That Drop Agnidus Agate
Along with the standard bosses, some of the trounce challenge bosses (and Andrius) can drop Agnidus Agate, as well. They are:
Andrius (The Wolf of the North Challenge) Boss level 39+: Slivers | level 42+: Fragments | level 63+: Chunks | level 84+ Gemstones Azhdaha (Beneath the Dragon Queller)* La Signora (Narukami Island: Tenshukaku)
Like the standard bosses, the higher the level a weekly boss is, the better quality gems they can drop. Azhdaha, La Signora, and other weekly bosses follow this table, but Andrius is a bit different and listed above.
Other Ways to Get Agnidus Agate in Genshin Impact
Though boss fights are typically the most reliable way to farm Agnidus Agate in Genshin Impact, there are many other sources, which this section will go over.
The player can see which elements Azhdaha is infusing that week by looking for the elemental symbols on the door to his trounce domain before fighting him.
Daily Commissions
Every day, players will be assigned four daily commissions by the Adventurers’ Guild. By completing all four, they can earn a bonus reward, which can be collected by visiting Katheryne at any branch of the Guild.
These bonus reward packages will include a variety of rewards and XP, including elemental gem Slivers. It’s random which ones the player receives, but Agnidus Agate will be amongst them, of course.
Crafting
At a crafting bench, lower quality gems can be crafted into higher quality gems at a 3:1 ratio.
Here’s how this works:
This equates to 27 Slivers for a single Gemstone. That’s hefty, but it’s a good way to get the quality a player needs, and they’ll probably find themselves using this crafting technique a lot.
Conversion
Another function available at crafting benches is conversion, which allows the player to turn items into others. This requires Dust of Azoth, which can be bought for Stardust in Paimon’s Bargains. It costs 5 Stardust for 10 counts of Dust of Azoth.
Using this conversion technique, players can turn one elemental gem into another. For example, a Varunada Lazurite Sliver can be converted into an Agnidus Agate Sliver.
Higher-level gems need more Dust of Azoth to be converted, as shown here:
Agnidus Agate can be converted from Prithiva Topaz, Vayuda Turquoise, Nagadus Emerald, Shivada Jade, Varunada Lazurite, or Vajrada Amethyst.
Parametric Transformer
The Parametric Transformer is a fascinating device that allows players to convert materials into special items, including elemental gems.
Which fuel they use in the Transformer does not guarantee a particular output, but it does seem like some results are more likely with some fuel types. These materials are found to have a high likelihood of producing elemental ascension gems:
The Parametric Transformer produces “sets” of items, and multiple of the same set can be created. The “sets” that include elemental ascension gems will either have two Slivers or one Fragment.
Events
The last option for finding Agnidus Agate is through time-limited events. Though not always, events often have elemental ascension gems available in their prize shops or as rewards for meeting certain criteria.
